There are now flights to Dalaman all year around from various UK airports including Gatwick, Stanstead, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Newcastle. Return tickets from £170.
You could also fly to Rhodes in Greece, or Bodrum and get the daily ferry to Datça or Kormen, though this might involve an overnight stay. Out of the charter season there are scheduled flights from London to Dalaman, via Istanbul, with Turkish Airlines.
Once almost inaccessible from the mainland, even with a new road, Datça is still 2hrs (very scenic) drive from Dalaman.
Taxis are about €100 one way, and buses sporadic. With advance notice we arrange transfers to meet your flight, and try to share the cost with other participants who arrive at the same time.
If you come from Bodrum you can take the ferry to Datca, Kormen Bay. Trip takes 1hr 45 min. There’s a shuttle running from the ferry pier to the harbour, downtown. You can get off at Eski Datca exit and walk from there to Surya Yoga following Yaghane Pansiyon signs.
If you come from Dalaman you can either ask us to arrange a transfer for you (takes 2hrs) or alternatively take the airport shuttle to Marmaris and change to Datca bus at the bus station (takes 2,5-3hrs.)
If you come from İstanbul you can also catch an overnight bus by Pamukkale directly to Datca which takes 13hrs.
